Brussels Conference on Effective Use of Low-Calorie Sweeteners Features World Health Organization Scientist and Others

dr.jimhillATLANTA (April 2, 2014) — The International Sweeteners Association’s Conference, “Why low calories count: the effective use of low calorie sweeteners in today’s diet and lifestyle choices” took place April 2 at the Royal Museums of Art and History, in Brussels, Belgium.  World class nutrition and health experts, including Dr Roberto Bertollini, chief scientist at the World Health Organization, Professor James Hill (pictured at right) and Professor Adam Drewnowski,  spoke at this conference about the latest research in the fields of obesity, physical activity, appetite and healthy living, including the importance of low calorie sweeteners as tools to offer consumers low calorie choices.  For more information about the conference, including video links to speakers, click here.
